Table Tennis to return to Christ's College on June 22nd 2021

​Practice evenings at Christs's College will begin (government regulations permitting) on Tuesday 22nd June. Practice evenings will be on regular Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

  • The First Tuesday will be 22nd June. The first Wednesday will be 23rd June.
  • On Tuesdays, all tables from 1 to 11 will be open to all GTTL members.
  • On Wednesdays it will be the same except U3As will have tables 4,5,6,7 and 8.

The session is to be split into two halves: from 7:20pm to 8:20pm. Then there will be a ten minute break. The second half goes from 8:30pm to 9:30pm.

  • The session for seniors costs £6 for two hours and £3 for one hour.
  • The session for juniors/students costs £4 for two hours and £2 for one hour.
  • Unlike before lockdown, there are no bubbles and you don't need to book with a practice partner.
  • To book a session, please contact Adam Laws at prebenelkjaer@hotmail.com. You must await confirmation that your booking has been accepted as there is a limit to the number of people we are allowed in the hall on one evening.

 

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING RULES AND REGULATIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE YOU ATTEND: 

 

·        bookings to be made in advance. Indicate whether you would like to play for two hours or one hour – and if so, which hour.

·        Players not to attend if they or any member of their family has shown symptoms of the virus. 

·        Participants must report to club via telephone at earliest opportunity if they or contacts become unwell after they have attended a session in last 14 days. 

·        No cash payments to be taken. Once a booking has been confirmed, players to be provided with GTTL bank details for online bank transfer. 

·        no doubles - only singles (unless with member of own family) 

·        keeping at least 1+m/2m apart where possible. 

·        bags brought into courts. Towels and water bottles to be kept in players’ bags. 

·        Players to bring their own refreshments and refrain from using the water cooler 

·        players to bring their own bats and balls. 

·        Players to ensure table tennis balls are cleaned regularly. 

·        No handshaking, breathing on ball or wiping hands on table. 

·        Players to remain on the same side of the table throughout session where possible

·        hand sanitisers/anti bacterial gel to be used before play. This will be provided but players are encouraged to bring their own. 

·        players to wipe down their side of the table with a clean towel at the end of their session * organizer to apply table cleaner after each hour. 

·        Parents / non-players accompanying players to let the organizer (Adam Laws) know if they would like to remain in the hall during the session.

·        Disabled toilet ONLY to be used 

·        players to arrive as late as possible before scheduled to play and leave as soon as possible after they have finished. 

·        Players to agree beforehand to follow the above regulations.
