This week, in the Guildford Table Tennis League, the spotlight falls on the battle for supremacy in the Second Division, and yet another surprising result in this topsy turvy season, Godalming E thrashing Cranleigh 9-1 in the top of the table confrontation, only Angela Coventry saving a whitewash by denying Audit Gandhi his maximum. A look at the scorecard shows Danny McGranaghan as the star of the  proceedings winning all his matches convincingly, he is really playing to his strengths this year. Bramley B thrust their way to fourth place after a  poor start to their season. In a local Derby they beat their C side 8-2 – With Linda Makepeace and Steve Cheeseman dominant! Aftermath C moved to second  in the jostle for runners up spot four points covering the chasing four clubs.
In the Premier Godalming A hit an unprecedented 100 points-Is this a record for the Guildford League your correspondent asks? Will they top the 200 point mark by seasons end?
In the lower reaches of the First Division  Aftermath A and  Abinger A  fought a draw  with Mike Hughes unbeaten. The scorecard shows many closely contested  matches.
In yet another top of the table confrontation, this time in Division Four Woking B held onto an beaten run at the expense of leaders Cody B 6-4 also previously unsurpassed-Wokings  Igor Vypirialienko reigned supreme.
